doQuments* Folder Watch

Folder Watch is an ITAZ doQuments Add-on. It keeps a watch on folders specified by you. Every time a new file is added to any of the watched folders, the Folder Watch Add-on will automatically add the file(s) to your doQuments DB as part of a new record.

Following are the main features of the doQuments Folder Watch Add-On...

1. Watch multiple folders at the same time
2. Specify a different doQuments DB for each watched folder.
3. Select a Record Template to use while adding a document to the doQuments DB
4. Specify Include Filters to only add files of a particular type (e.g. *.doc)
5. Specify Exclude Filters to exclude files of a particular type (e.g. *.txt)

The doQuments* Folder Watch Add-On is currently available FREE for ITAZ doQuments Enterprise Edition customers.

Usage

If you have a non-TWAIN scanner, which can put the scanned documents into a folder after scanning, you can keep a watch on this folder with the Folder Watch Add-on. Every time a new scanned document is added to this folder, it automatically gets added to your doQuments DB.

Similarly, you can set a folder to be watched and save your email attachments into this folder. The attachments will get added to your doQuments db.
