Installing doQuments

Recommended Method

The easiest way to install doQuments on Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT4 is to use the doQuments setup available at http://www.itaz.com/doquments/d1/doqsetup.exe

Note for Windows 95 / Windows NT users: Please ensure that Internet Explorer 4.0 SP1 or greater is installed on your computer before you install doQuments. To find out the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer, start Internet Explorer and click on 'About Internet Explorer' in the 'Help' menu

Alternate Method

Use this method only if you have already downloaded the doQuments setup meant for Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP and do not want to download the larger setup recommended in the method above.

First ensure that Internet Explorer 4.0 SP1 or greater is installed on your computer. To find out the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer, start Internet Explorer and click on 'About Internet Explorer' in the 'Help' menu.

To install doQuments using the setup meant for Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista you must first download and install MDAC 2.5 (Microsoft Data Access Components 2.5). You can download MDAC from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_250rtm.htm.

Once MDAC has been successfully installed and your machine been restarted, run the doQuments setup. doQuments should now install without any problems.
