If you are upgrading from versions earlier than 3.2, then please read the special instructions.
- If you have not already downloaded the doQuments Security Manager click here to go to the download area.
- To start the installation of the doQuments Security Manager, double click on the dqsecsetup.exe file. You must only install doQuments Security Manager on a single machine on the network.
- The machine and folder in which you install doQuments Security Manager must be accessible from all those machines on the network on which doQuments is/will be installed.
- Run doQuments Security Manager after installation. You will be prompted to login. Enter both the user name and password as 'superadmin' and click on the OK button to login. Now close the Security Manager.
- If you are using the evaluation version of doQuments then on every machine on which doQuments is installed run the Enable Security wizard by clicking the Enable Security... menu option in the Help menu and follow the instructions on the wizard.
- If you are using the registered version of doQuments then on every machine on which doQuments is installed click on the Set Security Manager... option in the Security sub-menu of the Tools menu and then specify the path in which you installed doQuments Security Manager.
