Upcoming Releases & Features

As per our upgrade policy, customers can upgrade free of cost to any new versions of Globodox released within a period of one year from their date of purchase. Please note future versions of Globodox will be fully compatible with all DBs created with the current version of Globodox.


Below is a list of features to be made available in upcoming Globodox releases. We will also be releasing Modules for Globodox. Some of these Modules may have to be licensed or purchased separately (in addition to purchase of regular Globodox licenses).

All upcoming Modules are listed below and the Modules which need to licensed/purchased separately are appropriately marked.
  • Globodox SDK (to be licensed/purchased separately)
    Globodox SDK features an API which lets you add/modify/delete documents and Stacks in any Globodox DB. The API can also be used to integrate Globodox with other applications.
  • Web App Integration Module (to be licensed/purchased separately)
    Integrate Globodox with any web browser based application without any programming. This Module works only with MS Internet Explorer. It installs itself as an IE toolbar. A user can use the toolbar to quickly access documents relevant to the information displayed in the current page of the browser. For example if a particular page of your browser based application displays supplier information, then you can click on the toolbar button to get a list of the supplier's documents stored in your Globodox DB.
  • Virtual Printer Module
    Print from any Windows application to the Globodox Virtual Printer. The printed document is saved as a PDF, TIFF, PNG or JPEG file and added to the specified Globodox DB.
  • MS Office Toolbar Module
    Select and open a document from any Globodox DB from within MS Word or MS Excel. From within MS Word or MS Excel save a new document to the specified Globodox DB.
  • Reporting Module
    Create and run queries and print query results using advanced options.
