Important features

Comprehensive Security Features The comprehensive security framework in doQuments allows you to control access to documents and (if required) every piece of information stored with each document. Access can be controlled on a per user basis. You can also restrict the actions a user can perform.

Document Versioning This feature allows you to create and retain multiple versions of the same document. Every time you check out, modify and then check in a document, doQuments will retain a copy of the older version and add the new modified document as a new version.

Document Full Text Search This feature allows you to search documents in a doQuments DB based on their content. Currently MS Word (.DOC),MS Excel (.XLS), EMail (.EML, .MSG) , Web Page (.HTM, .HTML) and .TXT files are supported. For PDF and other formats you can download the appropriate IFilters (see FAQ).

Event Logging/Auditing This feature allows you to log details about user actions. For example you can configure this feature so that whenever a document is deleted, details about the action are logged. Almost any action a user can perform in doQuments can be logged.
